Texifter has received approval from X to launch a fee-for-service market research access point that will provide access to the full public history of X/Twitter. 

The new access point, XSifter.com, aims to replicate and enhance the previous web service, Sifter, which Texifter operated from 2014-2018. Sifter allowed users to enter complex Boolean queries along with a date range to obtain free estimates of the responsive data and the associated data licensing costs.

We are currently finalizing the terms and moving toward a launch date later this spring. This will be a three-month pilot program, and the total available data will be limited, meaning Texifter cannot expand it.

We anticipate offering pre-sale data blocks. The best price per unit will go to customers who purchase the largest three-block subscriptions ahead of the launch date. We envision these pre-sale subscription blocks containing between 50,000 and 1,000,000 Tweets collected over fixed 28-day periods.

These data blocks can be utilized for various projects until the four-week quota is reached. If the subscriptions do not exhaust the quota before the pilot's launch, we will consider offering one-time non-subscription sales.

There are specific restrictions outlined in the agreement. Research access to licensed data is limited to one year from the load date. All data will be stored and analyzed within DiscoverText. Please note that there are no raw JSON or CSV options available. One crucial reason this agreement was approved is that Texifter uses the X/Twitter display within DiscoverText to ensure that deleted, suspended, and protected Tweets are not accessible.
